HeeHee… Thanks Tara. Although I felt kind of silly dumping around [wu da wu zhung] things I never knew in front of you, but it was a fruitful evening. Yah, really did learn a lot a lot from her.

The production “SHITHOLE” was excellent. Lots of laughter. I felt lots of meaning too even thought I can’t make up half of the dialect that was used in the play. And the idea of seeing live unfolding through 3 dimensions, that just strip us down to seeing & thinking about really live situation/issues. I don’t know about the others, but that’s what I perceived from it. Theater play is a dimension closer to us then movies in the sense that there’s this realism in it that I think watching a movie on the big screen doesn’t have (Note: OMG.. they even used real chopper and spray paint, lucky…. the bloody pig’s head wasn’t allowed in the Esplanade). Realism not the sense of just real props, but also the wide perspective that surrounds us (things that happen in the background), unlike movies that usually zooms into certain part of the show. HAhaa.. who knows what I was just crapping about? The discussion held at the end was necessary I guess, helps me clear up portion of the play which I didn’t understand and also a look into different people’s views. And the audience usage of Chinese was just great. Not that I don’t know what they were talking about, but that words they use, I know them, but I hardly use them at all because I can’t recall. Banana? Me? No way, I’m a Chinese who’s English is as bad a his Chinese.

My second production play in a long……………………………………………………………………. Time………………………………………………………………. Truly enriching. As real as it gets, I don’t think I can afford to watch such production play that often. How ever this particular play did have me interested (I’m saying this because the last one I went for, didn’t really leave any impression in my mind). Yah, maybe once in a blue moon [xin xua lai chao] with budget, I might just find some interesting play on the web and go for it.

Tara then brought me to this restraint/café, Al Dente, to have tiramisu. The ambience there was smoothing, with candle light on the table over looking the waterfront. Hahaha… lesson starts here. I failed ordering immediately when I tongue-tied, the waitress came back later asking if we would like to try their Crème Brulee as their Tiramisu are out. Tara then filled me in on the dos and don’ts as we dine. Wow… there’s so much I didn’t know basic dining was that sophisticated, but it was all embedded into my mind. Saturday was almost over, and I followed on by walking this gorgeous lady to her block. A great night out for me and a terrible one for her? Hahaa…I Hope, that’s not her first night out with a guy, other then her dad. If it was, then I really made it terrible for her.

Thank You.

What a week end it has been... I know there's tons of homework to be done, but I just can't seem to get my body to move when it comes to work. I really really want to slack, and sure enough I did. After AutoCAD class yesterday (which I went alone, because the rest of the brothers 'release airplane'), I got back home to see huge boxes lying everywhere. Sigh, there's just so much stuff to pack... Bye gundams, sorry I've to pack you guys inside a box... That's that.

Later that day, I went out with lao da to get me some decent clothes. =p accompanied her to sim lim square to get DVD-R first, and I've got myself a Bluetooth adapter for my com too. Then we were off to seiyu U2... Woh, it was the first time in a long while that I actually went out to get my own clothes (I'm saying my sisters or mum will buy Tees for me). Lao da was pointing fingers at those really O~biang looking shirts (yes, checkers button shirts and also really rainbow colour ones), its really on 2 extremes. One was dull like shit, and the other was so excitingly colourful. I know I'm a dull person, but for goodness sake... spare me from looking older then I already am. I was looking for a black shirt, but lao da keep saying it's not my colour and that it will make me look super thin (i wonder). Anyway, I still can't believe I spent 100 over bucks on a single recipit just for clothings (don't get the wrong idea, I'm not that rich)... It's just so not me... So what did I get eventually? You guys will see it someday... I've faith in my taste and I know its money well spent *heart aches a little less, HAhaha*.

Had dinner out and was home in no time... I tried configuring the Bluetooth on my com so that I can back up my SMS(s) on Baby T, but it can't seem to work... Oh well... Its "early" this morning so I guess I'll be...zzZZing Then a sms from Tara who was in high spirits came in at 9am while I was still hugging on to my pillow. She's really enjoying her morning and at 9am some more =x Heehee... yeah, she got the tickets for Shithole booked and she'll be picking them up too (like really mah fa her to pick up the tickets after school, *bad*. Don't worry, I won't trade an evening out with you with anything... [means I'll show up =p])

I got so tired trying to configure the stupid Bluetooth crap, I took a LONG nap and woke up for some more TV programmers. Oh~ Jia Wei didn't win the bronze medal for Singapore in the Olympics *sad but proud*.

SLACK~~~~~

And yeah... the end of Sunday is here... need to WORK LIKE CRAP already... So long~

Friday, August 20, 2004 @11:48 AM

It's been so busy lately, I don't even know what can I blog. I've just been so zombie-like this whole week... I don't want to be a slave of this course, I know I can conquer it (After I catch up with some sleep) Hehee...

Hey, guess what? My pre-cast room just came in yesterday afternoon, it's just outside my kitchen window waiting for a door to be whack through. But to my disappointment, the room doesn't look big enough for me. Or should I put it like this? It isn't long enough for me. *pray* & *hope* that my visual estimation wasn't correct. With that small a room, I guess my storage space has to go vertically up. But who knows, my sisters might have already be married off and I'll be taking over their room even before the upgrading is done. MUahahhaha~ getting the new room was great lah, but nothings perfect man... Its just so dusty & itchy & sneezey, haiyo I can't even use the bathroom for about a week starting next Thursday.

Hello, why are yOu Guyx sTaying So faR bAck From me?... HEy!!! waIt for Me to Finish what I Have To SaY lah... I won't stink ok? Promise. Upon completion of the bathroom renovation at my place, the renovation work at my Da Gu's place (same block as me) has yet to start, and it just so happened that she had moved to live with her son till maybe after the upgrading is done. So now, if you guys still can't figure out how I'm gonna settle this problem, then just stay back like you already are.. ya, there.. Just nice.. MaHHAhaha~

8 more days till SHITHOLE, a date between friends. =x

Tuesday, August 17, 2004 @10:53 PM

Believe it or not, I spent this "early" hours smsing & listening to Gold 90.5 FM. Sounds kinda siao to stay up during those hours just to sms, but I've done it before with the same person (should I mention the name? Better not) ;P Right? I was intending to sleep at 2:50a.m. + but the more replies I got back, the more awake I became. So we promised to crap until one of us stop replying... But in the end, its feels like none of us wants to stop... Hahaha.. So I had to remind "someone" about the time... I'm just so bad...

Sunday, August 15, 2004 @12:41 PM

Going through my inbox yet again... Leena sent me this horoscope thingy that i've read like a dozen times, but I question its accuracy... HEhehe

LIBRA MAN
A man who has no balance like his Zodiac symbol. He is not the gentle,
cool, calm and charming guy like what you see. He has another dark side
of aggression, stubborn and he likes to start an argument the most.
Sometime he can be so depress and unstable. Up and down like he is
trying to balance himself most of the time.
To many people, he is a friendly guy and always smiles
even when he is mad or up set. His voice is always gentle and calm.
He
always set and comb his hair as if he comes out from a shampoo
advertisement.
Mostly Libra men are good looking, even the ugly one is
charming.
When he smiles, it is so bright that the whole world is
smiling with him too.
When he is in a balance mood, he is the type of person
you want to be with. In other unbalancing mood, he likes to make people
argue about something and watching it with fascination and fun. He will
wait to be the one who compromise and clear thing up. He likes to be in
a conflicting conversation.
Libra man is lazy by nature. After his tired day at
work, he likes to sit still and just look out of the window or read
quietly. He likes to be in his own world. After recharging his battery,
he will be very energetic again and may even take you out that night.
Libra man normally will not do any shocking or abnormal
things to be noticed. He likes to be conformed with his crowd, but if
you watch him carefully, you will see the different.
If he wears a
shirt, it will have to be a zipper front instead of buttons, or a
special tie bar. There is always something in him that he will not allow
totally conformity to take him over.

A straight forward, no non-sense guy. He is careful and
delicate in details. He will spent extra time to doing it right, than
comes back to correct them later. He hates people who boost, or
exaggerate.
He does not like over dressed woman or make herself a center
of an attention.

He loves to read. He loves poems and loves art. When he
works he can work like crazy,
but after work he can turn on romantic
jazzy music and treat you so gently.
He loves to give people advice and
normally give a good advice.
If you fall for him, you will stay like
being trapped in a spider web. If you want to break up with him, he will
persuade you a zillion ways to stay and you can not stop him anyway.
After he persuade you to stay, or after a big fight, he will be so sweet
to you as if he has never hurt your feeling before ever.

He will has his own way to win a girl love and
affection. Once she says yes, he will lay back and wonder if he should
go on or if he should back out.
In his teen, he changed many girl
friends because he can not clearly separate loving a friend and loving a
girl friend. He will check and re-cheek if his match is suitable and
compatible with him.

Even he is a romantic man, he can hardly understand the
emotion of the one he loves.
He is a generous guy even he sets his life
so systematically. He never knows when he makes you unhappy. He never
knows how he up set you. He will never knows what he said wrong. If he
is your lover, be prepared for this.
A not so pretty girl with no brain is not his type of
woman. If you are not pretty enough, he will not mind talking to you but
he does not care to get to know you. Any girls, pretty or ugly can ask
for his help, he will be happy to help. He hates to argue by yelling at
each other, so you tend to see he argue with his girl friend seriously
but try at best to be very quiet.
He likes to have a girl friend by getting to know each
other like a friend first.
If you want him, you have to like the same
thing he does. He prefers a pretty and gentle woman than a smart and
ugly woman. You have to understand his mood especially he can has many
different moods. He is a private person, so when he needs to be alone
better let him be.

Black - should be quite true
RED - Really?
Orange - Maybe
Green - Friends (female) of mine, beware.. HAhahhaa....

I've got nothing to say, you guys comment bah.. PLease Tell Me Am i rEally LdaaIt.. Pleeeeaaaaassssssseeeeeeeeee.... pretty p.

Saturday, August 14, 2004 @11:48 AM

Finally, some auto cad lesson... I was starting to worry if I were to go into ITP without any auto cad knowledge. It was a pretty short lesson, but still I had to wake up early for it. In less then 3 hours, Mr. Ken covered all the basic (from drawing lines to setting layers) needed for a 2D drawing. I felt that auto cad was kind of troublesome to use, and a lot of getting use to is to be needed. There were still some features I liked about the previous software I was taught to use. Okie.. Let’s put aside this electronic stuff shall we?

I was able to catch half of the anime, Gundam Seed (G.S.), by the time I got home. Hehe... guess Tara was really pissed off by Flay (one of G.S. character), when she sms me... I was slacking in front of the TV almost the whole day waiting for Fruit Basket (another anime) to show, and then I realize that Peach Girl's final episode was taking over Fruit Basket's air time. haizz.... Losing interest, I turn to the com instead.

Before long, Tara reminded me about the encore NDP telecast was showing today. *BACK TO IN FRONT OF THE TV* She told me I’ve missed her short-lived moment on the big screen, but I continued watching because I missed some parts anyway. HoHoho~ I SAW HER.. She was on the big screen for like 0.2 sec... HAhahah... it was fast... She thinks she's ugly, but her appearance on the screen was too short for anyone to notice... HEhehehe pretty lah...

After dinner & after Lao Er came home after her date... then TANs 3(my 2 sisters & I) played er ling wu (205) and hei bai pei... wahahhaa.... I end up losing and drinking a lot of water... Now here I am, bogging with my legs crossed to hold it back in my bladder... think I’ve GOT TO GO!!.... bye bye

Friday, August 13, 2004 @11:36 PM

Slept at 3 am woke up ay 6 am... Don't think I'll last that long today... Although I intended to work on the ride to school, I was too tired to even open my eyes. Started on my work just as soon as I reached school, yawning as I proceed. Can imagine staying in the lab, editing the client's brief over & over again from morning till 4+pm. Just God Damn Tiring...

We (Shawn, Cher Hao & me) decided to head down to Hougang Mall to get our design (cartoon self, I did 70% of everything there) printed on a PINK shirt for a birthday girl, instead of Peace Center just in case they need up to provide them with the T-shirt. HEhhee... Then comes the fun part... On the train toward Punggol, we played this game developed by Cher Hao using just to ordinary Binder Clips.

Players needed: 2

How to play: each player is to hold the binder clip (opened)

Objective: to get your clip attached to your opponent clip and let go first so that your opponent is still holding onto his clip. First one to win 3 out of 5 games wins.

Scoring:
- achieving the objective, plus one point.
- If one player drops his own clip, and his opponent still holding onto his. His opponent gets one point.
- If both clips fell at the same time, its a draw and that's match is not counted.

I tell you, this really is a lame game... There was once my clip 'flew' all the way to the other side of the train cart... Then down at Hougang Mall, we send our design to be printed on a pink T-shirt.. We even ask for our badges to be made. We had the next hour to look around, and eventually made our way to the library... YEAH! An Hour Had passed, I'm that closer in getting home to rest & have dinner. The badges looks cool man... wahhaha So Proud sia...

Thursday, August 12, 2004 @11:19 PM

I had mass forwarded a few lame SMS to my friends, and got back some funny replies... Hehehee... Take it easy, it was suppose to make anyone smile...

Ya, then Samuel Yam called me. He asked if I was too free? Free enough to forward him such msg. Then I got to know that his com has been down for a month now, and he's not intending to get it running till the end of his A levels (no wonder he has not been online lately). Chat a little about the latest anime & of cause the up coming gundam Seed destinY... Miss Chua's back already? She's back this June Sam told me... And asking if I am able to free a day for another gathering... OH man... Please, get someone from my class to tag along. If not, I will become a E1 student sooner or later.

Wohhh... 30mins.... Didn't know I can talk so much on the phone with a guy.... HAhhaaa... But that's not the longest I can stay on the phone...

haiya... Back to work...

Wednesday, August 11, 2004 @1:44 PM

Another early day, another funny dream with her. She must be the last thing on my mind, before I go to sleep at night. If not I couldn't have dreamt a dream in less then 3 hours of sleep. Anyway, the dream goes like this...

Met her outside my primary school
she turn up in a white blouse and a longer then keen length black skirt
then we set out on a food hunt
we entered this dessert store where Kenneth & LiLing was waiting
and~

Mum woke me up, HAHaha Oh well... It was still a nice dream though there was no logic... HAizz... Then I prepared and rush here to school and discovered I was too early... *faint*

Tuesday, August 10, 2004 @11:08 PM

Spent the last few hours sketching photos taken from site. I rather sketch here in the comfort of my own home then to sit down there at site in the hot sun sketching... But still I like that kind of feeling when people pass you by and at the same time take a peek and make a comment or two. HAha... But please don't pass by me and ask if I was drawing cartoons when I'm under the sun... I don't do cartoons/manga under the sun.

Hmmm..... I've scan the A3 sketch when I've the time.... gotta start working on my issues le... HAIzzz.... Another long night...

Monday, August 09, 2004 @4:38 PM

Here I am blogging before my Lao Er's sunny boi boi drop by for dinner and watch the NDP telecast together. Boring day, no interesting shows on the television. So I took out a stack of papers Lao Er dug out while clearing the room last night, and started drawing. Did a few circles shading, and got kinda bored with back & white. Pouring out what's in my pencil case, I've got a blue pen, yellow highlighter, 0.1 drawing marker and a red colouring pencil.

TaDa~

@12:52 AM

I was flipping through my secondary school's year books not too long ago. Well, I was just removing the pressed dried sunflower petals out of the year books and i couldn't resist the temptation to peek into them. *LOL* Everyone was so cute back in secondary 1, all the baby fats are still intack. I even got Tara to flip throught her copy too... There was a xiao shuai ge, whom later on metamorphoses to a charming young lady. And also some alien looking fellow that went looking L.K.K. (Lao Kok Kok, meaning old) and looked lamer & lamer ever since... Everyone changed so much during those 4 years. There was never a year where by my hairstyle will look alike in those class photos, I guess that's what you call messy hair. Oh well...

And here's something that should not be forgotten:

HAPPY 39th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!

Sunday, August 08, 2004 @8:19 PM

WHAT A WEEK!!!

I've been walking from Somerset MRT station to site after school for three weekdays, and walking along Singapore River to Clark Quay MRT station every day of those three days. How cool would it be to live there and waking up to take a little stroll along the river? So refreshing, so romantic, so nice & so happening...

But this trips weren't just all play and no work. No no, instead we (Archi students) had to go around taking photos, measuring our site, taking note on existing services, storm the roof top and stuff (Ooppss.. I was told not to use "and stuff" during presentation, Haha.. heck!) all under the hot sun. Basically that's all I did for the whole week.

Busy week, routine for each day goes like this...

1) wake up
2) made my way to school
3) next to the sit(only 3 days)
4) and lastly home(done traveling)
5) look through lecture notes
6) watch TV, surf the web, chat on msn
7) work on data collected from site on A3 butter paper
8) wish everyone good nite..zzZZ
9) repeat 1-8

Nothing much which I can blog about except this. VAL!!! You almost got Tara to not talk to me anymore. Val, we're quits ok? Because I almost got nova not to talk to you.

Sunday, August 01, 2004 @10:46 PM

Went out in the evening to meet up with my classmate at the site to collect more data. This time around, I’m more prepared. HEhe… I almost made a wrong turn into the Mistress Block, no I dun have a mistress there… So stop thinking about it, it was merely a wrong turn. Since it was still early, I site at the Pulau Siagoon Brigde and did a tally on the vehicular and pedestrian movement around the site. Yeah, then my group mate showed up, and we went photo shooting. Before long it was night, the warehouse is super eerie especially after a light drizzle and the trees were “crying” constantly.

We met up with some of our classmates and made our way down to the nearest flats to take a distance view of our site. Then “BOOM BOOM BOOM~” goes the sky. It was the fireworks and we behind the flats climbing a super steep staircase. On hearing the banging & boomings from the fireworks, the girls dashed up the stairs like they were walking down them. They took a lift to the 12th floor of the closet flat without waiting for us guys, but Ha! They saw nothing but smoke. Server them right for not waiting for us to take the lift.

That flat wasn’t ideal to take photos of out site, thus we head for the nest block. ….. T.B.C.
