I can't resist the temptation of creating another nicer more slick looking cast with the materials i had left, thus I spent the whole morning making a new mould. Having leant a lesson not to use Styrofoam for the mould, this one is going to be 100% acrylic. Man, it was hard to make without a scroll saw, I had to use pen knife to cut everything. Lucky for me, I had experience cutting plywood with just a pen knife. Insane? Not really… I could have sworn I did it… ask Bro5 man. With the skills I acquired from lots of gundam modeling, the piece of acrylic came out nicely… Haha.. got to stop praising myself. By the end of all the cutting, I’m left with a really short blade. Did one cast with the remaining plaster of Paris I had but it failed, as it was too thin. What luck, I had Lao Da to help me get more plaster of Paris as I head on down to borrow Shawn’s camera. TIAN1 BU4 ZHOU4 MEI3! It started raining cats & dogs ½ way along my bus ride. Ok… so I alighted hoping to see a covered overhead bridge, to my disappointment, the bridge was ½ railed but not covered!!! WTH!! Lighting flashed & Thunders clashed as I speed across the bridge as fast as my slippery slippers can carry me. How can I be not afraid when I’m like way up there with nothing taller then me around??
So far so good… Met up with Shawn to collect his camera (in a paper bag!!!) Shawn, its RAinIng!!! Plastic bag please… HAhaha… Kidding… Should Thank you. The return trip was bad, really Bad. Part of my umbrella’s frame flipped over, and I had to dash to a small shelter to fix it. To make matters worse, the cap thingy at the top on the umbrella came lose or something, rain water water keep running down the stem that I’m holding onto… DARN! Can’t use same hand to hold the umbrella and the paper bag. I’m all drenched, yet I’ve to be holding the paper bag in an awkward manner to keep it dry… made it to the bus stop, boarded a bus… passed by Serangoon MRT station and an Idea came to my mind. I can make my way back home with out getting wet by just alighting at Potong Paseh MRT station and ride the MRT to home… HEhee… I’m covered all the way from the station to my block. Lucky~
I present to you, my brand new mould. Smooth and shiny ain't it? So white and so pure.
you win some, you lost some... I didn't strengthen the cast with enough wire meshing, and this was how it came out from the mould.
The second cast came out great!

IIIiiiiiiirreeeeka!!!
I've big plans for this baby... use this joints in a single loadbearing wall used for cantilevering staircase?? how does that sound??? This might be a new addition into the precasting industry!! It's MY IDEA!!! WAHhahaaa.... ok, can anyone tell me what to do if i want to copyright this design?
